A Friend's Place was opened by Diane Dupuis and T.L. Magee in 2004.
In fact it was the house that brought them together. Diane had purchased the home and T.L. was living around the corner (a real-life girl-next-door story!). In October of 2003 they were married in the front room.
Diane has traveled extensively, speaks French, owned a successful painting and wallpapering company and ran a studio where she performed and taught dance. Currently Diane teaches Literacy at the high school level. She also designs custom, handmade wearable art. Check out her work at http://www.goddessrobes.com
T.L. worked as a carpenter and woodworker before entering the human service field were he served as a Human Resource Director until 2004. He has currently embarked on a second career as a teacher and freelance writer and serves as the resident handyman.
We enjoy running A Friend's Place as it gives us a chance to meet and talk with new people. As the saying goes; there are no strangers here, only friends we haven't met.
